The next generation of RIA avarcas have been taken one step further and they managed to convert a simple Menorcan sandal that was traditionally used by farm workers into exciting and iconic fashion footwear, modeled on catwalks in New York and many other cities worldwide.
Recycled marine plastics from Seaqual Initiative, are converted into a material that is as manageable as any fabric or leather. These raw materials are used to make the front cut of the instep , the rear strap and the insole of the Eco sandals. The sole is made with recycled PET plastic and is semi-transparent in color.
