Who we are.
We are women who wear size 12 boots and don’t want to compromise our fashion sense due to lack of size diversity in the retail market.
We are tall, statuesque women who were told we shouldn’t wear size 11.5 heels because we’d be “too tall.”
We are women who spend hours online looking for size 10.5 sandals, find the dream pair, but never see them in our size.
We are women who are so committed to our personal styles, that we’d do whatever it took to rock the perfect pair of size 15 boots – even if we had to sacrifice comfort (and maybe a pinky toe).
We are women who see our size 14 heels as more than fashion, but as an expression of self — to show who we truly are to a world that doesn’t always see us the way we see ourselves.
We are female athletes who need our size 12.5 heels, boots, flats, and sandals as much as our sneakers, slides, high tops, and cleats.
We are executives who wear plus size women’s shoes who want to look as powerful as we feel in the perfect pair of size 11 heels.
We are new moms who now wear plus size women’s shoes after our feet grew in pregnancy and can’t find the same styles we used to love in our new sizes.
We are beauties who love our curves and swerves and need fabulous size 12 women’s shoes to complete our wardrobes.
We are women getting ready for that first date who need the perfect size 11 heels to look and feel good from head to toe.
In short, we’ve walked (many miles) in your shoes. We know just how confident a head-to-toe look can make you feel in the office, on a date, out with friends, or even when it’s just you and the mirror.

Why we are.
Our mission is to make shoe shopping as fun and fabulous as it should be for the millions of women who wear extended shoe sizes. The experiences of our customers – because they’re OUR experiences, too – are our daily motivation. We built Style for Style Noire to make sure these “stories from the backroom” are memories of the past, so you can focus on styling memorable looks for the future.
“Recently, my wife and I were trying to show our appreciation for a friend by purchasing her a great pair of shoes. It was in that moment that we realized that my wife likes shoes as gifts too, but never receives them. Why, you ask? Because she wears a size 11, which has proven to be a tall ask when shoe shopping.
You see, our friend wears a size 7, and it is astounding how easy it is to find that size and how broad of a shoe selection there is in that size range. I myself wear a men’s size 15/16 shoe and always have trouble finding shoes for myself, but my gosh, I did not know the difficulty women experience finding shoes over size 10. As I write this message, I am on a waiting list to get a pair of shoes from my wife’s favorite brand when they release later this week and have my alarm set for 7:45 a.m. CST (15 minutes prior to launch), hoping by the grace of God I can find SOMETHING over a size 10. Shopping for women’s shoes is not easy, especially when the selection is extremely limited, and of that limited selection, the quantity is so small. I think Style Noire is much needed, as I know there are many women experiencing the same struggles and would love the opportunity to have a large selection of stylish shoes to choose from.”
